Today’s update brings an important fix for playername parsing and introduces a brand-new Counter-Strike 2 server running a Casual setup with classic maps!
🔤 Playername Parsing Bug Fixed
A bug that caused playername parsing to fail when names contained non-ASCII characters has been fixed.
This means that players using special characters or non-English alphabets in their names will now appear correctly in the logs and statistics.
Benefits of this fix:
- Improved accuracy in player statistics and history.
- Full support for international character sets in usernames.
🆕 Third Server Added – Casual Mode
A third server has officially been set up! This one runs Counter-Strike 2 Casual mode and features some legendary classic maps in its rotation:
This new Casual server offers a more relaxed play experience while still being fully connected to the DaddyPlaysGames.com backend and statistics systems.
⚙️ Casual Gamemode Logging Issue
It appears that the current log parsing system is having trouble properly tracking rounds in the Casual gamemode.
This issue has been identified and will be addressed in the coming days to ensure accurate round logging and statistics for Casual matches as well.
With this new server online and backend fixes improving stability, the DaddyPlaysGames.com ecosystem continues to grow stronger every day!
